The NMRA HUB Division

The following is a schedule of planned events for the HUB Division.  Note that times and locations are subject to change, so please check back close to the event for final details.

All events take place in Massachusetts, unless otherwise stated.

• Mar 13, 2010 (Sat): HUB-sponsored Spring TRAINing show at the Holiday Inn, Peabody, followed immediately by the HUB Division Annual Meeting at 5:00 PM.
  
  
• Mar 19, 2010 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting  8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston.
  Topic: "Module Masters Part 2: Rowley and Crossingville", presented by James VanBokkelen and Ken Belovarac.  An "up close and personal" look at these award-winning modules, with discussion and Q&A with the module creators. See the current issue of the Headlight for details.
  
  
• Mar 27-28, 2010 (Sat-Sun): HUB Modular Railroad display at the Greenberg Show, Shriner's Auditorium, Wilmington.
  
  
• Apr 1, 2010 (Thurs): Deadline for submissions for the HUB Headlight May-Jun issue.  Email submissions to the HUB Headlight Editor.
  
  
• Apr 11, 2010 (Sun): Nashua Valley Railroad Association's 45th Annual Railfair 2010 & Open House, Shirley.
  [Note: This is not a HUB event, and is listed on behalf of Nashua Valley Railroad Assn.]
  
  
• Apr 16, 2010 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting  8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston.
  Topic: "Rocks & Docks", presented by Scott Jewell. A presentation with photos, maps and models of railroad waterfront facilities, with focus on the Port of Boston in the 1920's. Topics include car floats, buildings, piers and transfer sheds. See the current issue of the Headlight for details.
  
  
• May 14, 2010 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting  8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston. Note DATE CHANGE, to avoid conflict with next week's convention.
  Topic: "Module Masters Part 3: Newton Jct. & Brockway and The Ames", presented by Dick Johannes and Stan & Debbie Ames.  An "up close and personal" look at these award-winning modules, with discussion and Q&A with the module creators. Details will be in a future issue of the Headlight.
  
  
• May 20-23, 2010 (Thur-Sun): HUB Modular Railroad display at the 2010 Tracks and Tides Convention, in Saint John, NB Canada, sponsored by the St. John Society of Model Railroaders. Bring your US passport!  See the Tracks and Tides Convention website for details.
  
  
• Jun 12, 2010 (Sat): HUB Board of Directors Meeting, hosted by Manny Escobar, Norwood.
  
  
• Jun 18, 2010 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting  8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston.
  Topic: "Communication Connections for Modelers", presented by Shack. A hands-on clinic covering the basics of wiring, soldering, crimping, with soldering equipment, tools and wire provided at the clinic. Topics include wire selection and tips on wiring communication buses for DCC and signals. Additional details will be in a future issue of the Headlight.
